Configuration Steps

To get your phone to work on the ntel network for data services and voice services via VOXHD App;

  • Ensure that an ntel SIM is inserted in the phone
  • Go to settings
  • then More (in some phones)
  • Mobile Networks
  • Preferred Network Type
  • Select 4G only or LTE only
  • Go back
  • Click on Access Point Names
  • Click on the ‘+’ sign
  • Set name to ‘vox’
  • Set APN to ‘vox’
  • Click on the options and select save
  • Set the APN as the default/functional APN

If the LTE only option is not available, you will see the LTE/WCDMA/GSM (Auto) option.

  • Go to the phone dialer
  • Enter *#*#4636#*#*
  • Select Phone Information
  • Change network type to “LTE Only”
  • Go back and toggle airplane mode on/off
  • Network service showing 4G should be displayed on the phone now

Download the VOXHD App from Google Play Store

Click on install ntel VOXHD App and follow the instructions as above.

Voice and Data Over LTE

Configuration Steps

To update an existing S7 Edge:

  • Go to Settings
  • Then About Device
  • Software update
  • Search for updates (if there are new updates)
  • Install and after phone restart, customer can use the line on ntel network
  • More updates will be provided as the devices get certified on the network

Tecno C5, Konka R2 are preloaded with the VoLTE software

VoLTE update on the S7 Edge does not apply to device software for the Middle East, North America, Asia, Europe and South America

Configuration Steps

For iOS configuration, ensure that iOS software version is from 9.3.0 and above, then follow the steps below:

  • Insert the ntel SIM card
  • Go to settings
  • Tap on cellular data
  • Click on data roaming, if available
  • Select enable LTE
  • Device will prompt for LTE confirmation
  • Click on enable LTE
  • Select APN settings
  • Type ‘ntel’ in the APN name for both the LTE and Cellular data

Specifications for ntel VOXHD Compatible devices

ntel VOXHD is currently compatible with devices running Android operating systems and supports versions from Android 5.X and more recently Android 6.X. The Apple iOS version is in development for lovers of Apple iPhones. Updates on this will be provided regularly.

The ntel VOXHD is only compatible with ntel SIM cards.
